All applicable state and local laws:

• Electric scooters must obey all traffic laws.
• Scooters are not allowed on sidewalks and pedestrian-only areas.
• Operation of scooters are allowed within city parks, but cannot be used on sidewalks or spaces solely for pedestrians
• Electric scooter riders “must yield to pedestrians” on the shared pathways.

Motorcyclists fatalities occurring 28 times more often those of passenger vehicle occupants, based on per mile traveled. The same can be said for scooter accidents.
